Elle Zee is a phonetic spelling of LZ, initials for Lyzz Zinn.

I'm Lyzz - I'm a musician, lover of music, and owner of Elle Zee Music.

Music has been my primary mode of expression since I can remember making sound. It is the means by which I found my voice, the way I express my identity, and the medium I use to share my unique story. I want to help you explore your story musically, to let music inspire you and spur your creativity the way it has for me.

I received my B.M. in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music and am currently working toward my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Music Therapy at Lesley University. I have a certification in Levels I and II of Somatic Voicework(TM), and I am a Top Music Pro Studio Member and Creative Piano Teacher. I offer lessons in voice, piano, and ukulele, informed by my songwriting practice and these creative and humanistic principles. I work with students of all ages, and especially love teaching beginner and intermediate students who want to sing and play an instrument concurrently and/or write their own songs.

While at Berklee, I wrote, co-directed, produced, and performed a 60-minute One-Woman Show, replete with original music, acting, and poetry, which gave me a deeply personal experience of the healing power of music and writing. I also worked with an Alzheimer's choir in Valencia, Spain, and co-wrote a song for them to perform at festivals throughout Spain, another humbling and phenomenal testament to music, itself.

I perform as Elle Zee. My performance highlights include Sober in the Sun Music Festival, Now Listen Here!’s storyteller series, The Point, Club Bohemia, The BeBop Music Lounge, Out of The Blue Gallery, and JP Open Studios. I am co-founder of Mass Artists for Change, and performing member of The Blue Rose. I am a published poet, and creator and former host of Berklee's Wellness Podcast, Life Aid.

I seek to continue exploring and cultivating my skills in performance, writing, and education to foster a deeper connection with music for myself and others, always.

To hear a song we connect with is powerful, to make that song our own is beautiful, to create our own is the ultimate expression of our humanity.
